Yuriria/Uriangato/Moroleón, Guanajuato, México

Writer's picture: Maestro ProfesorMaestro Profesor

Yuriria, Uriangato, and Moroleón are technically three cities but all in the same metropolitan area. Moroleón and Uriangato are basically the same city, with Moroleón being the place with more services, and Yuriria being the one with tourists. Between the cities, one can take a bus for only around an hour. Yuriria is a city built on the slope of a dead volcano, next to the Spanish's first hydraulic project in Latin America - note that the lake is covered in plants. You won't miss much not going to the other two cities, but why not?
