Yecapixtla, Morelos, México

Writer's picture: Maestro ProfesorMaestro Profesor

Yecapixtla is a small town in the Mexican state of Morelos which contains a former convent that forms a part of the UNESCO heritage site of the earliest missions set up to evangelize the Americas.

The town itself is uneventful, except for the many places that sell cecina, a type of meat dish famous in the area. Each taco cost MXN$20 and it was quite filling.
