Tochimilco, Puebla, México

Writer's picture: Maestro ProfesorMaestro Profesor

Tochimilco is a small town in the state of Puebla in Mexico that is around half an hour away from Atlixco.

It has a former convent that forms a part of the UNESCO Heritage Site of the earliest missions established to evangelize the Americas, on the slope of the volcano Popocatepetl. In the city centre, there's also a municipal palace, seemingly damaged by the 2017 earthquakes, and something else built alongside the former convent. Beyond that, there's nothing much.
