Tancoyol is a small village in the municipality of Jalpan de Serra in the Mexican state of Querétaro. It has one of the five Franciscan missions that form a part of the UNESCO heritage site.
It is in Jalpan municipality, but is in fact very, very far from the actual city. In fact, you can't even get there without passing through Landa, another city and municipality, first. That was the last stop of my taxi tour which took almost 6 hours when everything's said and done!
There was nobody in the church so I began singing several tunes. The acoustics was quite nice.
