Santiago, Nuevo León, México

Writer: Maestro ProfesorMaestro Profesor

Santiago is a city next to Monterrey, and is a magical town. It has a small and unremarkable historic centre, with its main attraction being the waterfall Cola de Cabello. There's also an artificial lake created by a dam to generate energy.

As a bonus, we also went to Parque Chipinque, a mountain in San Pedro, one of the cities that form the Monterrey metropolitan area. That's basically just a nice hike everywhere.
