Mineral de Pozos, Guanajuato, México

Mineral de Pozos, or just Pozos, is a small town around 20 minutes (by bus) from San Luis de la Paz. There's no direct transport from anywhere else. The city is not big, the its most iconic Jesuit horns are quite far from the city. I took a private "motor" there but you can also join a 4-hour tour that would also take you to 2 other haciendas and I think 2 mines. Within the city, within walking distance, you can see 1-2 haciendas (more like ruins) and 1-2 mines. The Museo de Mina, mostly a shop, is pretty good. The mine there isn't terribly deep (it's flooded), but it's a good enough experience I feel. Payment is voluntary there.
