La Paz, Baja California Sur, México

La Paz is the state capital of Baja California Sur, on the east coast of the peninsula. From Cabo San Lucas, it's around 3 hours by bus, at MXN$300. It's not a very big city and there isn't much to see, but it's nice to have a day trip there.

Internationally, La Paz and Los Cabos were known as two of the most dangerous cities in Mexico, but in reality they're both very peaceful.
